Aggregates
We stock many different aggregates for use in all situations, these include: Decorative gravels for driveways, pedestrian pathways, and all purpose garden use. Various sands from fine building sands to simple childrens play pit sand All-in mix for use with concrete Scalpings/hardcore for sub-bases, and hardstandings All our aggregates are stocked in 25kg bags, bulk bags, and we can deliver most aggregates in loose loads direct from the quarry.
Gravels:
	20 - 6mm Flint Gravel Principal applications: Final surface for driveways Some ground drainage uses Can be mixed with sand to make concrete
	10 - 6mm Flint Gravel Principal applications: Pedestrian Walkways Useful between rockery gardens Can be mixed with sand to make fine concrete
	6 - 2mm Flint Gravel Principal applications: Great on scree gardens and rockeries Useful as a "pebble-dash" render Can be used to aerate clay-type soils
	4 - 2mm Flint Gravel Principal applications: Great on scree gardens and rockeries Useful as a "pebble-dash" render Can be used to aerate clay-type soils
	10 - 6mm Pea Gravel Principal applications: Fine, round gravel used in garden decoration Pedestrian walkway uses Good for scree gardens and around rockeries
	10mm Quartzite Pink Gravel Principal applications: Garden paths and walkways For scree gardens and between rockery Can be mixed with sand to make concrete
	20-4mm Quartzite Pink Rounds Principal applications: Final surface for car driveways Can be used as "pipe-bedding" * Inherent uses for ground drainage * (product should be checked by customer for relevant suitability)
	10mm Pink Rounds Principal applications: Makes a great pedestrian walkway Rounded aggregate feels "kinder" under foot Unique, deep-scarlet colouration
	20 - 14mm Cotswold Chippings Principal applications: Used on domestic driveways and paths "Packs down" for less surface shifting Popular alternative to Flint Gravel
	14 - 10mm Cotswold Chippings Principal applications: Used to create pedestrian walkways "Packs down" for less surface shifting More comfortable to walk on
	20 - 5mm Limestone Chippings (Grey) Principal applications: Can be used for a gravel driveway Often mixed with sand to make concrete Some drainage and "pipe-bedding" uses * * (product should be checked by customer for relevant suitability)
	10 - 5mm Limestone Chippings (Grey) Principal applications: Used for pedestrian paths and walkways May be mixed with sand to make concrete Some drainage and pipe bedding uses
	6mm Limestone Chippings (Grey) Principal applications: Mainly used as a coating for flat roofs Some uses in scree gardens and rockeries General decorative garden use
	75 - 50mm Beach Cobbles Principal applications: Ideal for use in coastal gardens Larger stones for decorative infill Often used in and around garden water features
	40 - 20mm Beach Pebbles Principal applications: Larger stones for decorative infill Covers compost of potted plants Often used in and around garden water features

Sands:
	Yellow Building Sand (fine sand) Principal applications: Fine, builder's sand used with ordinary Portland Cement to make mortar mixes Used for blinding hardcore under damp-proof membrane General building purposes
	Sharp, Washed Pit Sand (sharp / coarse sand) Principal applications: 50mm layer used to lay paving blocks Mixed with 10mm or 20mm aggregate to make concrete General building purposes
	Red 50/50 Building Sand (50% fine & 50% coarse mix) Principal applications: Often used for rendering * Used for mortar mixes where a coloured mix is required General building purposes * (please note product is not certified as lignite free)
	Play Pit Sand Principal applications: Used in children's sand pits Won't stain clothing or hands Softer to touch
Other Building Aggregates:
	20mm All-In Aggregate (Ballast) Principal applications: Cost-effective sand and aggregate blend Mixed with cement to make concrete Saves time mixing your own sand and gravel
	20mm - Dust Scalpings (hardcore) Principal applications: Used as a sub-base for hardstandings Used as hardcore under patios, paths and driveways Packs down tightly to give a solid base
